SWIRL EXPERIMENT
(EXPERIMENTO DEL REMOLINO)

Hemos hecho un nuevo experimento. 
¿Cómo comprobar la cantidad de grasa de un alimento?
Para hacerlo utilizamos un potente quitagrasas (Fairy), y comprobamos la reacción de los alimentos al contacto con él.

Las preguntas que nos hemos planteado son: ¿Contienen los lácteos grasas? ¿En qué cantidad? ¿Cómo podemos comprobarlo?

Full-cream milk: leche entera
Skim milk: leche desnatada
yogurt: yogur
Food colouring: colorante alimenticio
Dishwashing liquid: lavavajillas
Drop: gota
Add: añadir


Vamos a ver en qué consiste el experimento:

We'll need:


1. 1 cup full-cream milk or 1 or 2 yogurt (skim milk contains too much water to be effective with this experiment)
2. 3 or 4 different food colourings (you have to use the standard ones, natural ones are not as concentrated and so don't work as well)
3. Dishwashing liquid (Dish soap)
4. A medium-sized bowl.

Directions:

1. Pour the milk into the bowl.
2. Place one drop of each of your colours into the milk, keep the drops close together.
3. Add a drop of dishwashing liquid to the milk.
4. Watch the colours swirl around.
